Chapter 140 the terrifying truth
"Alayot, kill him," Void commanded indifferently. The being with six arms frowned as he looked beside him in shock. At some point, a mechanical humanoid had already appeared beside him, its punch inches from his face.
...Boom...
The punch connected, sending him flying. "What is with this power?" The six-armed being stopped and looked at his body, feeling a slight dizziness as his body shook.
"Hmm, he is using his Soul Law in his attack. Quite impressive," Void thought, observing from the side.
"You!" The being with six arms was angry as he disappeared and appeared in front of Alayot.
...Boom...
A punch landed, and Alayot flew out. "Law of Soul? Do you want to compare with me?" the being said as a wave spread out. Dizziness surged, but Void merely frowned, and everything disappeared.
"You will die. You just don't know it yet," Alayot said and disappeared. "So fast, where is he?" the six-armed being was shocked.
Boom...
The six-armed being was struck in his chest, and his vision blurred. "What... what is happening?" the six-armed being thought in shock, but it wasn't over.
Boom... Boom... Boom...
The six-armed being was hit again and again, unable to catch even a whiff of Alayot.
Finally, the attacks stopped as the being knelt, his aura collapsing as he spat blood. "How?" the being asked, feeling his life force draining away.
"Your soul has been battling with mine, and you didn't even notice. Now your soul... is gone," Alayot said. As soon as the words left his mouth, the being's body fell, and his aura disappeared.
A Rank 3 being was dead. It's body drifting in the Cosmos
"Sigh, too bad we can't kill Rank 3 beings permanently," Void said with sadness. "This being will probably reincarnate again at some point and recover his memories but ."
"Your strength is commendable," Void said as Alayot bowed slightly.
"Thank you, but your strength is greater," Alayot said as Void grinned.
"Void!!!!" A shout was heard just as the two beings were about to continue their conversation.
Void looked down at the marble near him and saw Sun Wukong.
"Oh, Sun Wukong," Void called out with a smile.
Sun Wukong smiled, looking at the endless giant body.
Void transformed into his human form as he gazed upon Sun Wukong. Entering the universe, Sun Wukong's size shrank to 2 meters as he appeared near Void.
"Glad to see you again, Sun Wukong, and..." Void paused slightly, bringing a smile to Sun Wukong.
"You've broken through?" Void asked with a smile.
"Hehe, yes," Sun Wukong scratched his head with a smile.
Void was actually happy for him, although none of his subordinates had broken through to Rank 3, because he himself was still at early Rank 3.
After a few pleasantries, Sun Wukong asked the question that had always been on his mind. He started telling Void how he met those three and what they told him.
After he was done, Void merely grinned.
"Well, Sun Wukong, it's like this. The human race that you are familiar with? They're the ones who imagined you. Basically, they brought you to life, not only you but many characters," Void paused and continued.
"I've been to the Consciousness World and realized something. Humans are responsible for 90% of all creatures alive because all are created from them. To put it another way, we are all the creation of a human," Void paused as Sun Wukong frowned.
Outside, Alayot was also listening attentively.
"Humans might not be strong physically, but their minds are the most powerful thing. I've thought of this too: Am I a creation of a human?" Void paused and looked into the distance.
"Am I being watched now? Or am I a character from a movie or novel? These questions are really puzzling, but seeing the humans here gave me a hypothesis," Void said with a grin.
"There are two different worlds, or so it seems: one is the fictional world, and the other is the world of the so-called humans. I call them authors; they are the creators in the truest sense. I don't know if they have powers there or if they are like the humans here, but I do know one thing," Void paused as he allowed his words to sink in.
"In here, those authors are the strongest beings. They can control your thoughts, actions, even your fate. Destiny and everything else are in their hands. They can make you think that you are controlling them while they view you as a clown. They can choose to make you the strongest or the weakest. They can kill any of us or make any of us. Sun Wukong, Heaven, and the Heavenly Dao are nothing but their creations," Void said, shocking both Alayot and Sun Wukong.
"Sun Wukong, in here, they create worlds, universes, dimensions, and new things constantly. They create incredible beings. No being in fiction is as strong as they are, after all, they are the ones who created those beings," Void said, dropping the final bomb.
Silence reigned as Alayot struggled to comprehend this. They were nothing but the imagination of a group of beings called "authors." They could kill and bring characters to life.
What kind of strength could create a Rank 3 being? Who were these terrifying beings?
The Titan Soul inside Sun Wukong frowned. This information—this was what the quasi-Rank 7 beings wanted to know, yet ironically, a Rank 3 was able to deduce the mystery behind their existence.
They were created by such beings. Such power was beyond anything he could imagine. Such a being created the Quasi-Rank 7 beings, such a being created God, such a being created Lucifer, such a being created all of this.
"We are all the imagination of these beings, brought to life. So my thoughts, even my speech, are what they imagined. And basically, I am a puppet?" Sun Wukong thought in fear. This was too shocking.
Forget all the big villains behind the scenes, but this information was massive—truly terrifying.
"Don't think too much about it; you can't change a thing. It shows how powerless we are to these beings," Void said with a grin.
"Sigh... thinking about this frightens me too. What kind of being is controlling me, my thoughts? It even means that being made my universe take that decision, gave me this system, planned my meeting with Sun Wukong. Even me creating a clone to go to the JJK world... Wait, wait... no wonder I didn't die when I entered the space rift then. This..." Void pondered as his fear grew.
"Sigh... if you can't change it, then don't think about it. I'll just get strong enough to talk to this being myself," Void thought as he looked at the monkey, showing a solemn expression.
"Thank you for enlightening me," Sun Wukong bowed deeply.
"Thank you for opening my blind eyes," a voice from outside—Alayot's—was heard. Sun Wukong was shocked for a moment, but he knew the being must be a friend or slave of Void, so he didn't panic.
"Thank you for answering my question—the question the whole cosmos wants to know," a deep voice said as Void smiled.
The titan soul emerged in space, a huge glowing golden orb appearing.
"Ah, it's nothing," Void waved his hand with a smile.
"No, I appreciate this. If you ever need help, use this tattoo. You are an honored guest of my titan race," the titan soul said as Void felt a slight searing pain when a mark was placed on his right chest—a strange mark boldly representing the titan race.
"Thank you, then," Void said with a grin as the soul entered Sun Wukong's consciousness.
"You're doing impressive work, Sun Wukong. If this universe evolves into a multiverse, it will bless you too and help you. See you later, champ," Void said and disappeared.
Sun Wukong smiled. "He gave me an idea of a way to improve rapidly," he said brightly.
Outside the cosmos, Void's true size appeared again as Alayot stood there, analyzing what Void had said.
"This... this might actually be true," Alayot finally said in shock, losing most of its robotic tone.
"I like this normal, natural voice better. And yes, you are right. This might be true or not, but well, let's worry about that when we get strong enough. For now, let's just enjoy ourselves," Void said with a grin, and for the first time, Alayot smiled.
"It seems he is trying to become more normal," Void thought as the portal opened.
"Back to the journey to my clone's universe... Ugh, the journey just became longer," Void said as he and Alayot entered the fourth layer of space and started moving to a particular coordinate with incredible speed.

Grand Ancestral Hall:
Kai and Muchen were at the Grand Ancestral Hall of the Immortal Chen family again.
This time, they were not alone. Apart from the elders of the clan present, multiple new faces could be seen, each radiating a terrifying aura.
These were the geniuses of the Chen clan. Each of them was of the purest bloodline of the Chen clan and had access to immense resources.
These were the geniuses who had died in the war and reincarnated.
All were prepared for the secret realm opening happening tomorrow.
Today was the day to choose those who would lead the Chen clan members and identify the strongest among them.
Because of this special ruin, the geniuses had slowed down their cultivation speed, all because the ruins contained cultivation methods of the Emperor Realm.
