Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 103 Clash between Ranks

"Hey Nephem... Change of plans... We're going to war," Void said with a smile.

Nephem stood up from the runes with a smile. They had been here for months. The runes were quite complicated for him, and the runes was large. Missing even one symbol would cause massive changes, so he couldn't afford to relax.

"Oh... I'm interested in that now," Nephem said, his white hair and handsome face capable of intoxicating any girl.

"I knew you would be. Let's check up on Sword Demon, shall we?" Void said with a grin.

Nephem nodded, and Void waved his hand. Space shattered layer by layer until the third layer of space was visible. Nephem was covered by Void's law as they both stepped in. Void didn't use the fourth layer because it was dangerous, even for him, and he hadn't been there yet.

"Well, I guess the time to use the fourth layer will come," Void thought with a smirk.

In a few seconds, Void and Nephem traveled hundreds of mythological units to where Sword Demon was. On arrival, they saw a surprising scene.

A peak Rank 2 demon stood at the front of a demon army, leading and training them. Nearby, other Rank 2 demons commanded their own standard armies filled with Rank 1 beings, while the Rank 0 demons on their own.

"Master," Sword Demon suddenly turned toward Void's direction.

The whole demon army was shocked as they followed Sword Demon's gaze and saw two beings: Void and Nephem. One in an aeron form and the other in human form

"Is that our leader?" "He is strong." "Very strong."

As primordial demons, they had an acute perception of chaotic aura, especially one related to the demon race, and they could feel it—Void's aura covered the entire giant island they were on even though void was in his human form. They are some demons who can change form .. especially starting from Rank 3 beings so the demons weren't surprised by void's strange and small form.

"Leader," all the Rank 2 and Rank 1 demons bowed down to Void. The sight of trillions and trillions of demons bowing to one being was a rare sight to witness.

For ordinary humans, just the voice from this massive number of powerful beings would turn them into meat paste. Their voices traveled light-years to reach Void instantly, resonating without echo.

Managing such a vast number of demons would seem impossible for any human to imagine, but this was a powerful being—a Rank 2 existence. Sword Demon's power and strength were evident here.

"Good, a personal army is nice, but this is too small... I need more demons," Void thought with a frown.

To him, the rest were mere cannon fodder; only his slaves were his generals.

"Good... now to introduce the real powerhouses," Void said with a chuckle as he began. Every being suddenly felt their hearts contracting as multiple portals opened.

Beings hundreds of meters in height walked out, their aura shaking reality.

Although not as transcendent as Void, these creatures were known as 4th-dimensional beings. All of them were quasi-Rank 3 primordial demons.

The quasi-Rank 3 demons looked at the lower-ranking demons with grins, releasing their auras, pressing down on them, and making them feel as though they were out of touch with reality itself.

Suddenly, Void appeared in front of them, and their auras vanished. All the quasi-Rank 3 demons gathered and faced Void.

"Are you the one who summoned us?" a quasi-Rank 3 demon asked, his expression playful.

"Correct... I need you to lead this army," Void replied.

"Lead? Ha... what's in it for us?" another quasi-Rank 3 demon asked.

"Well, a contract. With benefits," Void said with a grin as he waved his hand. A contract appeared in front of the quasi-Rank 3 demons.

"Signing this contract means you give the host 90% of the souls you acquire during the war."

Seeing this, the quasi-Rank 3 demons looked at Void with annoyed expressions.

"What is this contract? The highest we can agree on is 50-50," a quasi-Rank 3 demon said indifferently.

"Yes, that or we won't participate. We will leave," another quasi-Rank 3 demon added.

Void shook his head and clicked his tongue. He understood why they felt so confident. Rank 3 demons were rare and universally powerful, so the quasi-Rank 3 demons believed they were close to Rank 3 and thus deserving of respect. But the truth was...

They, too, could destroy a universe, so what was the difference between them and Rank 3 demons?

"Ha... interesting. Rank 3 demons have been too quiet. You all feel so strong, right? Do you agree with him?" Void asked.

"Yeah." "Why not."

Multiple quasi-Rank 3 demons spoke up.

"In fact... if you don't agree, we will kill you," one quasi-Rank 3 male demon said with a bloodthirsty smile.

Void looked at the demon who had just spoken with a slight smile. This demon's intention was clear to him. He wanted them to face Void as a group, kill him, and then share a Rank 3 soul, allowing them to reach Rank 3 as well or close to reaching 50% of their half laws.

"It seems you don't understand what a 5th-dimensional being is," Void said with a chuckle as that quasi-Rank 3 being suddenly disappeared.

The other demons, ranging from peak Rank 2 to Rank 0, felt dizzy as memories of that quasi-Rank 3 being were completely erased from their minds.

The remaining quasi-Rank 3 demons frowned as they realized that memories of the fallen quasi-Rank 3 demon had vanished.

Suddenly, regret and fear filled them as they realized a fellow being had been killed, and to top it off, his memories with everyone else were erased.

In the worlds this demon had been through, both survivors and those who worshiped him—everyone had forgotten about him as their memories were erased permanently.

"Now... do you agree or not?" Void asked with a smile as the quasi-Rank 3 demons backed away in fright.

The demons hurriedly signed the contract with their blood, which then disappeared.

Void also gave contracts to Rank 2, Rank 1, and Rank 0 demons. For them, he took only 99% of their souls gained.

However, two beings were an exception: Sword Demon, who received 30% of his soul gains with void taking 70%, and another demon without a contract.

"Abbragon," Void called out with a smile.

Boom…Nôv(el)B\\jnn

A dragon crashed into a mountain, destroying it in an instant.

"I hate heroes "...., the dragon thought, flying out of the ruins.
