Chapter 341: Brothers, Charge!

Chapter 341: Brothers, Charge!

Before the Sacred Ground of the Corrupted Beings, under the gray-blue sky.

Millions of corrupted beings gathered, their killing intent as sharp as blades, saturating the land with an overwhelming aura of battle. Black mountains crumbled one after another, their collapse echoing like unending thunderclaps. Wails filled the air as dust and blood flew, and meteor showers rained from the heavens. Every inch of ground was stained red, littered with corpses.

Ten towering silhouettes stood like ancient mountains, each strike annihilating tens of thousands of corrupted beings. Their might shook the heavens.

Chen Xun’s silver hair sparked with lightning as he sat atop a hundred-foot-high mountain of corpses, his cold gaze sweeping across the battlefield. His breaths were shallow but steady. Despite the exhaustion written on his face, his presence exuded unyielding dominance.

Around him, only a hundred ancient warships remained, tightly encircling his massive vessel. The vile hatred emanating from the corrupted beings gnawed at their resolve, but the ships stood steadfast.

In all his years, Chen Xun had never witnessed such a terrifying scene. A thin stream of blood ran from his arm, dripping onto the corpse mountain beneath him. His expression was a mix of sharp vigilance and weariness, his posture defiant.

Twelve years of relentless battles had tested him beyond limits. His defensive capabilities, bolstered by every ounce of longevity he had earned, had been pushed to their peak.

The corrupted beings crowded the land and skies, their twisted forms unable to conceal the fear in their eyes as they stared at the red-blooded figure atop the corpse mountain. Chen Xun stood as an ironclad wall, an immovable barrier between them and the frontlines. None dared approach.

Rivers of corrupted blood flowed freely across the battlefield, feeding into the already soaked earth. Even the Deity Transformation Stage corrupted beings in the rear were shaken, fully realizing that this creature, unshackled by the constraints of mortality, was their true nemesis.

And yet, they knew his weakness. His energy and strength were finite. Their strategy remained: wear him down through endless waves until he succumbed. For now, the late-stage Deity Transformation corrupted beings stayed their hands, waiting for the opportune moment.

In the darkness beyond, dozens of late-stage corrupted beings seethed with rage. Why hadn’t their endless frontline retreated? The Sacred Ground was paramount—this delay was unacceptable.

Chen Xun’s lips curled into a mocking smile as he glanced into the distance.

Over the years, he had slain over ten late-stage Deity Transformation corrupted beings. Yet his injuries told the story of an unrelenting enemy. He wasn’t sure who had dealt him the blow, but with countless enemies, it hardly mattered. His foes were endless, their ranks impenetrable.

Chen Xun rose slowly, twin axes dangling at his sides. His five-element energy rippled outward, causing the ground to quake. Millions of corrupted beings instinctively stepped back under his oppressive aura.

Behind him, the land had been cleared. The enormous vessel stood embedded in the corrupted earth, its surroundings pulsating with violent energy.

“Brother Xun! The ground here is unstable. The Sacred Ground is siphoning the essence of this blackened land!” Xiao Chi’s voice echoed from within a cavern.

“Moo!” Brother Ox’s calm gaze remained fixed on Chen Xun. “Moo?”

They were surrounded on all sides, the chaotic disruption of this realm a direct result of their relentless assault. But their situation had grown dire—dozens of late-stage Deity Transformation corrupted beings encircled them, refusing to engage directly. Instead, the corrupted used waves of lesser beings to sap their strength.

For the first time, Brother Ox saw Chen Xun injured. A deep worry clouded his otherwise calm demeanor.

“Old Ox,” Chen Xun said.

“Moo?”

“Take Xiao Chi and the Five Elements Tree. Charge into the ground.”

Chen Xun’s icy tone brooked no argument as his sharp gaze bore into Brother Ox. “I’ll hold them off. We can’t let the sacrifices of the ancient warships and frontline warriors be in vain.”

His eyes grew colder as he spoke, scanning the battlefield teeming with frenzied corrupted beings. Without the frontlines holding back countless enemies, their situation here would have been far worse.

“Moo?” Brother Ox’s expression twisted with concern.

“Don’t worry about me. It’s just a few corrupted beings.” Chen Xun sneered as the third Mountain Splitting Axe rose skyward, exuding death energy in furious waves. “Old Ox, send part of your soul back with the Taiwei Purple Celestial Fruit.”

Brother Ox nodded solemnly. Over the past twelve years, they had cultivated the celestial tree to bear not twenty but fifty fruits. A black light shot into the sky as Brother Ox’s hoof struck the earth. A teleportation array emerged, its five-element energy stabilizing the land. In a flash, the fragment of his soul disappeared into the distance.

The sky darkened as death energy swirled into a massive demonic figure. Two colossal axes of blackened energy swept outward, cleaving through the corrupted beings in a storm of blood and wails. Even the gray-blue sky above seemed to bleed red.

Chen Xun leaped into the fray, roaring, “Brothers, charge!”

His booming voice shook the heavens, marking the start of another brutal battle. The death energy demon shadow carved a path of carnage, leaving behind broken bodies and pools of corrupted blood. The land beneath quaked as deep fissures split the terrain, threatening collapse.

“Moo!!!” Brother Ox bellowed, his enormous frame looming over the vessel. His hooves struck the earth as he steadied the vessel’s vast formation, its runes glowing with a tempestuous brilliance.

The Five Elements Tree extended its branches, merging its power with the formation. A titanic silhouette of black and white stretched into the sky, its presence radiating invincibility. The ship transformed, evolving into a true breaker vessel capable of shattering realms.

Xiao Chi gripped the Five Elements Tree tightly, his face pale but determined. The unstable land groaned beneath them, its core disrupted by the massive extraction of its essence.

“Moo!!!” Brother Ox’s roar thundered across the battlefield. The breaker vessel surged forward, heading straight for the Sacred Ground’s edge, aiming to tear through its heart.

The final assault had begun.
