Chapter 375 Hidden Tressure? Spotted!
"Who is there?" one of the nearby guards suddenly turned toward the pillar before narrowing his eyes and raising the spear in his hands.
"What happened?" hearing the guard shout, the others rushed to him and asked.
They looked around and found nothing.
"Why did you shout suddenly?" one of the guards asked in an irritated tone.
"I thought I heard something here." The guy who first called out scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Maybe it was the air coming from the lava here. What kind of noise was it?" another guy chimed in with his own questions.
"Now that you mention it, the sound did sound like air flowing." The guy thought deeply and replied while looking at the pillar before glancing at the lava flowing around the floor.
"Tch, what a waste of time. First, the heat is annoying, and then you go and do stuff like that." The annoyed guard rolled his eyes before turning around and moving back to the spot he was guarding before.
While they were busy looking at the pillar, Yuan Ming, with a hand on his face, was behind the rock, observing their bickering.
'Thank god your qi is blocked or they would have sensed you.' The sword sighed in relief. 'Now hurry and move to that opening before they get back to their positions.'
Yuan Ming did not ask any questions and followed the words of the sword.
Since he was using stealth techniques to guide his aura, no one from that distance could sense him moving through the shadows.
He narrowly made it through the opening of another cave which led to the lower levels.
'Did you know I would make a mistake like that?' After sensing that he was safe, Yuan Ming slowed down and asked.
'Of course not, but if you hadn't, I was going to ask you to make a sound like that.' The sword replied calmly as they made their way down the stone path. 'and see everything worked out great.'
Even though Yuan Ming was scared to the core, he was glad that the reckless plan of the sword worked out in the end.
As walked down the path, Yuan Ming noticed the light around him growing dimmer, and also the air was not as hot as the surface.
He continued to walk silently and stealthily even though he hadn't encountered any guards.
The more quiet things were the more alarmed he became.
'You have to take things on your own from here, my energy is very low.' Hearing the sword's sudden words Yuan Ming froze in his place.
'How can I know where to go without your help? It was you who told me to come here in the first place.' Yuan Ming frowned in frustration while looking around vigilantly.
'Don't worry, soon you will be able to feel it on your own. Just follow your instincts.' Saying those words, the sword suddenly turned silent.
'Hey! Don't leave me hanging here!' No matter how much Yuan Ming screamed in his mind, there was no reply.
He looked back, and the thought of leaving this place flashed through his mind but recalling the state of his fellow disciple, Yuan Ming clenched his fists and looked forward with determination.
Taking a step forward he continued forward.
As walked down the path, he did not notice but the sword in his hands lit up a little. 'I am sorry master but you have to face this by yourself.'
The path Yuan Ming was walking on was not smooth sailing. Soon he encountered his first hurdle.
He noticed that the path he was walking on suddenly started to widen and places to hide started to get smaller and smaller.
Taking every step carefully he arrived in a wide open area where he found something that stumped him.
The open area was further connected to three different pathways. These pathways all led in different directions.
'Now what should I do?' Looking at his sword, Yuan Ming sighed.
*Tap!*
*Tap!*
Shaking his head, he walked out of the shadows and stood in front of the path looking.
His tense body was enough to show that he was ready to run or fight at any time if the need arose.
'How can I find my way?' Yuan Ming calmed his mind and recalled the words the sword said to him. 'instincts, huh..'
Closing his eyes he sensed the darkness around him. Even with his qi blocked Yuan Ming could sense his surroundings because of his strong body.
As he continued to focus he started to feel something, a flame, a warmth that was coming from the distance.
Soon the warm feeling started to envelop his body before his body suddenly started to become agitated.
It started to crave the source of the warmth.
'Is this the thing that sword was talking about?' Opening his eyes, the boy looked to his right, the same direction where he sensed the warmth coming from.
*Woosh!*
Without wasting any time, he rushed into the right tunnel and vanished into the darkness.
*Tap!*
Yuan Ming ran through the tunnel as his steps echoed in the empty cave. Even though he could barely see anything in his path, Yuan Ming rushed forward with all of his might as his body started to grow more and more restless.
'Just what is on the other side of this tunnel.' Running through his way, Yuan Ming started to see a source of light brightening up his pathway.
*Step!*
Just as he stepped on the other side of the tunnel Yuan Ming's eyes widened. In front of him was the most weird scene he might have ever witnessed in all of his life.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

There was a huge pond of lava in front of him. Unlike the surface, the lava in this place did not seem warm to him at all.
All the stones around the lava glowed like crystals as if they were…
'Spirit stones? But why are they all red' Yuan Ming thought in disbelief and confusion.
His mind could not think of anything as his body was simply not listening to him.
He could sense the pores on his body widening and soaking in the warmth from the surroundings.
Just as he was about to wake the sword up, something happened…
"Yuan Ming?" hearing someone calling his name, Yuan Ming froze and immediately turned around.
His hands almost dropped the sword in his hands when he saw who the person standing behind him was.
