Chapter 70 José Yusmairobis(II)
70 José Yusmairobis(II)
Five days ago, in Silas' room.
As usual, Silas was spending his free time, gaming when he was notified by LUNAR that someone was doing an extensive background check on him.
Silas thought it might be Mr Andrés but after giving a few thoughts, he felt that it was very unlikely.
He knew that if it was really Mr Andrés, then LUNAR wouldn't have bothered to inform him as he has already given her instructions on what to do, but he was very curious as to who it might be.
"LUNAR, who is it?"
{It's the CIA.}
"Wait....what?!," Silas couldn't help but ask in shock and surprise.
"Why the fuck are they looking for information about me? I don't remember commiting any crime," Silas said to himself.
He honestly didn't remember doing anything that will warrant one of the biggest, if not the biggest intelligence agency in the world to pay attention to him.
The only thing he knew that might cause this, is his meeting with Mr Andrés but he felt that it's very impossible for it to be the reason.
He already knew the type of person that Mr Andrés is and it would be extremely impossible for their conversation to leak. Even if it happens, which is also impossible because of what LUNAR has done, he wouldn't be implicated. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"Then why is the craziest three-letter agency doing a background check on me?," Silas asked exasperated.
One of the most annoying things in life, is having important question and having no answers to them. A very annoying situation if one is to find themselves in it.
{I have investigated and I found something. The Director of Central Intelligence received an order from the White House during their last meeting to investigate you, and this was after a black colored letter was received by the president.}
"A black colored letter? Do you know who sent this letter?," Silas asked.
Immediately, the image of a man who looks to be in his late eighties appeared on the Gear screen, followed with every possible information on him.
"José Yusmairobis, Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela," Silas smiled when he saw the man's information.
"He finally makes his move, huh? It took him quite a while to do so, though," Silas said and smiled.
"He sent a black letter to the White House... LUNAR, was the letter directly sent to the president or the white house?," Silas asked wanting to confirm something.
{It was sent directly to the president.}
"It seems he might be a member of that organization. LUNAR, let's have a conversation with this old man and see what he wants," Silas said and sat up on his bed.
"Connect the Gear to the laptop, and ring his phone. Make it a video call."
Almost immediately, an old man's face plastered with undiluted shock appeared on the Gear screen.
"Hello, Mr Yusmairobis. We finally meet. Remember me?," Silas asked with a smile.
"Y-you're him?," The old man said, with the shock still on his face.
"Yes, I'm him. Who do you think I am? You?," Silas asked, being snarky.
"How is this possible? How did the call get picked by itself?," The old man asked in shock, still unable to calm down.
"Stop making it sound like this is something out-of-the ordinary. Do you know what I actually find surprising? The fact that you had Mr Andrés to incite the thoughts of rebellion into the heart of your cabinet members.
Or is the fact that you know that Mr Andrés actually plans to take you out of power and you still give him a platform to do so. And the most shocking of them all is that I can't seem to find information on the organization and its members. It's like they never really exist," Silas smiled when he saw the shock on Mr Yusmairobis' recedes, and now replaced with a very serious expression.
"Who are you?," Mr Yusmairobis asked with a very solemn voice. He knew that he finally hit a solid rock by trying to dig into the identity of the boy who met with Andrés.
"I'm sorry but I think I should be the one asking that question. Mr José Yusmairobis, who are you?," Silas asked.
Right after Silas asked the question, he hung up and told LUNAR to make sure that the old man won't be able to contact him in any form.
...
Back to the present.
Silas looked at stiffened face of the man and smiled.
"It seems I was right," Silas nodded feeling satisfied with himself.
Mr Yusmairobis seeing Silas' smiling face, also smiled.
"Interesting. You know about them? But that should be impossible except you're either close to one of them, close to one of us or you're one of them.
Which one are you really? You're a very interesting person, you known that, right?," Mr Yusmairobis said with a smile.
"Which of them do you think I am, old man?," Silas asked with a knowing smile.
Mr Yusmairobis saw this and started analyzing.
"I was able to get a little information on you and from what I saw, you're not close anyone who's politically affluent, neither do you have generational wealth.
Which leaves out only the last possibility. You're one of them. You're also a Phenomenal!"
Mr Yusmairobis couldn't believe it himself, when he came to that conclusion. He knew that it could be very possible that Silas is also a Phenomenal.
He knew how large the world's population is, and he knew that it's very possible for organizations tasked with identifying Phenomenals to miss out some, especially the newly awakened.
Even the organization also finds it impossible to document every single Phenomenals.
But Mr Yusmairobis felt that something was wrong. Why is Silas talking about the organization like it's filled with villains.
It's not like it's not but not exactly the way Silas seems to be portraying it.
Mr Yusmairobis decided to put matters related to the organization aside as he had a brilliant idea when he finally arrived at Silas' identity.
"Let's forget every other thing and cut to the chase. Silas Kurt, why don't we come to an agreement. I will give you what you want and you help me with what I want."
