Chapter 333 Perfect Trade
"What? Eight hundred zombie cores?!" Minerva was shocked as he received Lysandra's reply about the price of the prosthetics she needed.
However, even though it was expensive, Lysandra guaranteed that these prosthetics would be magically connected to her nerves and would feel like a normal arm. Furthermore, if she spends a bit more than that, they could put a high-grade blade into it!
To be exact, she just needs to add 150 more Zombie Cores, and she would be able to obtain a prosthetic arm that could be considered a Master-Grade Item in terms of its effects and durability.
[ Lysandra: Do you want it? ]
Minerva immediately calmed down after seeing another message from Lysandra.
[ Minerva: I want it. However, I don't have that many Zombie Cores. To be honest with you, I only have 400 Zombie Cores with me. I have been saving it since I could commission a friend blacksmith to make me a sword arm for only 450 Zombie Cores. However, since your Prosthetic Arm would give me another chance to feel complete again, I really want to have it. ]
[ Lysandra: That's a pity. You can consider loaning from your friends. You can always message me if you have enough Zombie Cores. ]
Minerva frowned after reading this message. She only have a few friends and they were also not doing good in their cores collection. There was no way she could borrow Zombies Cores from them.
Aside from that, she wasn't sure how many Prosthetics would be sold by Lysandra. She was also unsure whether Lysandra would still be selling them after she managed to gather enough Zombie Cores.
Minerva quickly looked at her Inventory to see if there was something she could offer as a trade. After all, now that she thinks about it, if Lysandra just needed Zombie Cores, she would just be placing these Prosthetics in the Marketplace and sell them for a high price. However, the fact that she was going to the chat to ask the others, it means that negotiation was possible!
Without any more hesitation, Minerva gave a reply.
[ Minerva: Is it possible to do a trade? ]
…
Thankfully, it didn't take that long before Lysandra gave a positive response.
[ Lysandra: If you have items that had similar value, then it's possible to do a trade. ]
[ Minerva: Great. I have an item here that you might be interested in. It's called a Talent Expansion Scroll. It allows you get another Talent. I have this for two weeks now but up until today, I haven't got a chance to get a new talent so I haven't used it yet. If I will trade this to you, can you give me the best Prosthetic Arm available?
]
[ Lysandra: Of course! If you're using that to trade with me, then I can even give you a second Prosthetic Arm for free! Both of them will have the same quality, I'll get best one for you. ]
Lysandra and Minerva then chatted for a little more to get more details about the Prosthetics that was needed.
After that, Lysandra relayed the information the shopkeeper.
The shopkeeper, was actually also a knowledgeable and skilled Artisan. She listened carefully as Lysandra explained Minerva's requirements.
"I needs to be capable of handling both everyday tasks and combat situations…" Lysandra said. "What do you recommend for my friend?"
The shopkeeper nodded thoughtfully as she absorbed the information.
"I have two suggestions that should suit her needs perfectly."
He led Lysandra to a display case and pointed to the first prosthetic arm. "This is the Myoelectric-Controlled Arm. It's activated by the user's muscle signals, allowing for precise and natural movements. The arm is equipped with a reinforced frame for durability and has a built-in energy blade for combat. It's also lightweight and comfortable for everyday use. This is worth 5 gold taels."
Lysandra examined the arm closely. The sleek design and advanced technology were impressive. "This looks perfect for my friend. What's the second option?"
The shopkeeper moved to another display case and revealed the second prosthetic arm. "This is the Hybrid Combat Arm. It combines mechanical and magical enhancements for maximum versatility. The arm features a retractable shield for defense and a built-in grappling hook for mobility. It's also enchanted to enhance the user's strength and agility, making it ideal for both combat and labor tasks."
Lysandra's eyes widened as she took in the details. The Hybrid Combat Arm was definitely the work of a great Artisan and perhaps even a magician at this point. It was designed to provide a significant advantage in various situations!
"These are both incredible options. I think my friend will be thrilled with either one. Is this one also priced the same?"
The shopkeeper smiled. "Well, because we still have to make some adjustments to fit the size for your friend. We have to add an additional 50 gold coins. If you want to take two of them, that would be ten taels of gold and 50 coins."
"Yes… Let's go with that."
"Then, we'll prepare both arms. The readjustment will just take a few minutes."
Lysandra thanked the shopkeeper and watched as she called for another worker and informed them of the things she needed.
After that, Lysandra made a few more transactions, but aside from Minerva, who was quite poor in terms of Zombie Cores, some others simply agreed with her price or asked to be lowered by 50 or 100 Zombie Cores.
With just a few transactions, she was about to earn 13,200 Zombie Cores! After all, some Prosthetics were only worth three taels of gold!
"This is too much… I have to share this with the Clan Leader." Lysandra knew that she was only able to obtain so much money, thanks to Shane. Because of that, it was only natural to return money to him.
Seeing that it was still early, she checked her chat messages for one last time to see if there would still be someone interested.
Apparently, although there were dozens of them who wanted to obtain top-class Prosthetics, they would simply stop replying as soon as they heard her price.
"Mhmm?" As she was browsing through her chat, she suddenly found an interesting message.
'So it's a blind guy this time...' She mused.
