My Farm System: Reaching The Top In The Parallel Earth!

At normal times, hostile magic beasts that are not trapped inside the resource points or are captured by humans living in the City of Hope will only appear inside the city if the city is attacked by them

However, the city was clearly not attacked considering the manner in which this magic beast appeared. If it was a magic beast attack, they should come from the city walls first before they can even have the chance to reach the Tryst Academy

As such, this situation really gave Mage Yero Feather a bad feeling as she waved her hand. On her sleeves, four pure white feathers flew out and they landed in four different areas, forming a square shape

Those feathers then erected a translucent purple barrier that traps the fox-type magic beast inside

"I-Instructor, what is happening?"

"W-why is there a magic beast here?"

"Is this part of the academy's arrangements?"

"Is the City under attack?"

The students asked, feeling quite anxious. Although they haven't personally seen how merciless and cruel the magic beasts are, they grew up knowing that these creatures constantly put humanity on the brink of extinction

Despite how vast the world was, humans were only able to occupy a single territory and expansion seems to be an impossible thing. As such, although they are lacking in experience when it comes to dealing with and facing the magic beasts, they still understand that these creatures shouldn't be appearing here

"I don't know too but for now, all of you get out of here!" Mage Feather replied to them while focusing all of her attention on the magic beast that already started attacking the barrier she erected

"Let's go!" Rezen said to Treen and he half-dragged him out of the gymnasium but they just took a few steps when a familiar voice entered their ears

"D-don't you want to watch the battle between a Senior Rank magic beast and mage?" The voice said and it came from Fiona, the woman who was also a tribesman and the person that most people in their batch ignored, bullied, and disliked all because of her appearance

"Watch? I doubt that we even have that kind of luxury. How simple it is for a magic beast to suddenly appear here when the entire city is monitoring and securing all the possible areas that magic beasts could use to enter? Better be safe than sorry!" Rezen replied before he continued to drag Treen

As much as Fiona wanted to watch such a high-level battle, Rezen's words convinced her and she too immediately went out

"Eh? Rezen, you are always too cautious! Let's live life more! Let's stay and watch. Even in my clan, I rarely have a chance to watch this kind of battle. And it's with a mage and a magic beast at that!

I always only watch mages fight!"

Another woman spoke and this time, it was Porenz who spoke. Her face was filled with excitement as if she was simply going to watch an interesting show, unaware of the danger that would soon fall upon the students

"You can watch if you want but I suggest that you run now" Rezen replied without moving stopping his feet

"The premise is that we have to survive until these reinforcements arrive!"

Treen wants to further protest but Rezen doesn't give him the chance to do so

"I also believe that this situation is abnormal and dangerous. It's not something that we who are only at the early or middle cycle of the Junior Rank can survive"

Another person agreed with Rezen which was Theon. He is also quite the cautious person and he goes with Rezen to evacuate into safer areas but before they can do so, a figure is suddenly thrown in the air

The eyes of all the students inside the gymnasium trembled as they saw Mage Feather's body hitting the walls of the gymnasium

When they looked at her previous location they saw more than just one fox-type magic beast at the Senior Rank. In just a short period of time, the scarlet gate spewed out two more magic beasts, both of which are also at the Senior Rank!

The barrier that Mage Feather erected was already destroyed and from the looks of it, she was caught off guard. She didn't expect that it wouldn't be only one magic beast that would suddenly appear but three of them all of which are at the Senior Rank

"RUN!" Rezen shouted as the fox-type magic beasts roared and attacked the students near them

Soon, at least three students were flattened to death by the claws of the magic beasts. Their bodies exploded like watermelons. Blood and flesh splattered on the ground, drenching the surrounding with the scent of fresh flesh

This time, Rezen didn't only use his feet to move. He also used wind magic to increase his movement speed. It was fortunate that his choice of evacuating was paid off

He and the people that accompanied him are the students farthest from the fox-type magic beasts. If it was them, they would definitely suffer the same fate, including Rezen

"Argh..." the Instructor groaned as blood dripped down her lips due to the impact of the magic beasts' attacks

While she has her wings as a shield, she is still facing three magic beasts at the same rank as her. It was no easy feat to defend against them

"I will hold them off here until the other instructors arrive. Your life and survival will depend on your abilities and luck. Don't gather into a large group, you might attract more attention than usual!" Mage Feather warned as she faced the three magic beasts at the Senior Rank

As for the magic beasts at the peak of the Junior Rank, they freely pursued the students who were running for their lives

It was already pushing Mage Feather hard to stall three magic beasts at the same rank as hers. She simply doesn't have the energy nor the capabilities to also hold the other peak Junior Rank magic beasts. She can only hope that most of the students in this batch will survive and their bright futures will not be cut off prematurely
