Chapter 2265: Raid of the Kholomodumo II



(POV of a Player from one of the guilds)

The normal players that only came with the mission posted on Avalon were not sure why we are in this Pure Sulfur Mine, but I do. I am a guild member of the Valor guild led by our Guild Master Ain. It is a pretty lax guild as long as you follow every rule that the guild master set. He rules are not even strict, but I talked to some Pantheon guild members and theirs is much laxer compared to ours.

Anyways, I did not want to believe what our guild officers told us in the briefing, but I had to. I am currently an Orc player because muscles are the way, but demons are really a whole different breed. The way that our guild officer just told us that a large primordial beast will be teleported to this location is something that you will not believe unless you have seen what demons are capable of.

I am wondering and hoping that the Daemos or demons as what they sometimes call themselves will be playable. I did not want to become one because I thought demons were beings with small muscles unlike the Orcs but seeing a demon with bigger muscles than my chosen race mesmerized me. I was mesmerized to the point that I wanted to become one and even befriended an NPC. I learned that they are a species of demon called Diabolon.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

I always hoped that Equinox would unlock the Daemos race, but it seems that the quest is insanely difficult given that they can wield the arcane easily. Anyways, my fantasies are now getting the best of me but when will the large primordial beast come? We have already been here for a few hours while some of the earth mages in the guild have been here for days. The briefing also told us some strange directions such as hiding behind the rocks when the primordial beast arrives. Even the normal players are told to do this, but I do not know why. Maybe it was explained earlier but I guess I did not listen as attentively because the guild officer that gave s details did not have massive muscles like me.

Just as everyone was starting to chatter and wonder when the action will commence, the sky suddenly started to emit sparks. It was not really the sky but the space above us being ripped apart by magic. A large rift in space could be seen as all of us were in awe because this is the largest one, we have seen.

I have seen Guild Leader Equinox of the Pantheon guild create black holes and portals, but this one is at least twenty times larger than the ones I have seen. The entire canyon that was artificially created by the earth mages is covered by this large rift in space. Just as all of us thought that the theatrics were over, a large monster suddenly fell down which made the canyon shake.

This was the primordial beast that they have told us that would appear. It actually almost filled up the entire canyon that is made of yellow rocks which they said to be Pure Sulfur. I do not remember what the name of the primordial beast was but was it Kumumu? Or

Kodomomo? Still, it is not a being that is easy to look upon.

I finally learned the real name when I inspected it, and it was the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. It looked like a slug that had a child with a leech, but it mutated with numerous hairy fuzzes as if it has a distant fuzzy caterpillar as a grandmother. When the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo descended, it looked incredibly lost as it tried to move around.

I do not know why we were told to immediately take cover when the monster comes but I learned why a few seconds later. When the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo suddenly took a bite of the chunk of stone in front of it, a bunch of notifications suddenly popped up for all of

us.

The greenish body of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo suddenly changed to the color red. Its berserk form just changed its color which I thought was harmless, but I was mistaken. The Primordial Beast Kholomodumo suddenly released numerous spikes from its body that were long and fast.

The other players that did not heed the advice and looked curiously at the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo are either dead or lucky to be alive. I am in the latter part of the group as the spikes that were about to hit missed by a few inches. I guess my muscles gave me luck as I suddenly heard the command to attack.

The guild officers said to attack the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo as it will now enter a state of exhaustion. I know I was lucky, but the adrenaline might have kicked in too much as I suddenly found myself charging at a large monster that could kill me unknowingly if I stood in its way. We attacked the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo, and it returned back to normal after a while.

When it was now able to move from its exhausted state, the earth mages that were stationed everywhere suddenly started chucking the yellow stone that turned it berserk in its mouth. I think my mind blanked out because I know that stone is the thing that made it turn red and kill 10% of us in one attack.

I thought I was a goner because I was still in the area around the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. I am a melee fighter because these muscles are not just for show, but it seems that I am dead here. To think that the guild will sacrifice me. I closed my eye accepting my fate, but I did not die. When I opened my eyes, I could see a demon near me as it seems that they teleported all of us that were near the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo.

It seems to be my demon friend with great muscles that has saved me. As expected of a muscle enthusiasts, we must make sure to help each other. Oh! They already said to attack again?! Ok! I hope you always have my back, and I will have yours! Charge!

Adrian, Elder Ascalor, Elder Koronn, and Elder Bronx looked tired and out of mana. They practically teleported two large monsters across time and space. They thought that all of them have already finished the calculations but the mana they used exceeded what they calculated. They were practically drained with only having 10% of their mana being left.

As soon as the two Primordial Beast Kholomodumo vanished, the remaining one in the Wilde felt its soul connections vanish. The calm Primordial Beast Kholomodumo would have rampaged, but it is not an intelligent being. It just started to eat just like before but the beings that surround it will not let it eat in peace.

"Start!" Adrian stated while catching his breath.

Peridot and Levin Cloud that were hiding near the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo turned off their camouflage. The large stones that looked like normal ones also started to revert back to what they are. Behind the two are large deposits of Pure Sulfur and using their mastery over the earth element, they sent chunks of them inside the mouth of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo.

The Primordial Beast Kholomodumo did not even care on what enters its mouth as all of it are just swallowed. As soon as the chunks of Pure Sulfur was ingested, the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo suddenly froze, and numerous notifications flooded the players in the Wilde which are the Pantheon guild. The Primordial Beast Kholomodumo entered its berserk state and released all of its spikes in a frenzy.

The entire area was littered with spikes all over but all beings that live near there were already gone. The players and the army of the Selvaggian Race have already prepared for this event. As soon as the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo stopped firing spikes, Adrian had to chunk a mana potion that tasted horrible to surge his mana back to full.

"Primordial Armament: Mirror!" Adrian stated as he changed to his mirror demon form.

He then proceeded to create numerous mirrors that are located in each of the gathered army members. The mirrors are the gates that these army will use to enter the area of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. The empty area near the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo is suddenly flooded with numerous Selvaggian warriors that attacked the enemy.

The Selvaggian warriors did not show any mercy towards the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. All of the rage that they have for the world eating monster is poured into it. The large health of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo started to dwindle that it was incredibly noticeable. The rage of the beastkin could tear apart even a primordial beast.
