Chapter 54 Level 5 Reached! Legendary Skill!

[Ding!]

[You have levelled up to Level 5]

[All attribute points will be increased by 1]

[You have gained 1 free attribute point and 1 Skill Point]

"Finally, level 5..." Arthur muttered as a wide grin formed on his face.

His main focus was on the holographic screen in front of him, he completely forgot about the players that he just killed.

'Let's see what the new changes are,' He thought, as he read through the barrage of notifications.

[Congratulations! You have reached Level 5]

[Class selection unlocked]

[Class Detected Shadow Monarch (SSS-Rank)]

[Restriction Removed: Level limitation lifted for selected class]

[Skill Acquired: Shadow Bind]

"That's what I'm talking about, finally I have not one, but two skills!"

Arthur ignored all other notifications from his excitement and accessed the skill description.

<Shadow Bind>

<Rank: Legendary>

<Active>

<Description: Uses the target's shadow to temporarily bind them. The duration of the skill depends on the difference in strength between the user and the target.

'What the hell, a legendary skill? that sounds pretty strong.' Arthur thought, 'It should be stronger than an epic skill, but I'm not sure if it's a tier above or many tiers above. It still seems overpowered.'

After celebrating the new addition of a powerful skill to his strength, Arthur checked the other notifications.

[New Talent Effect!]

"A new talent effect?" Arthur muttered and immediately checked his talent.

SSS-Rank Talent: Primordial Summoner

Talent Effect #1: You are able to summon primordial beasts once every 2 months. Additionally, you can summon normal beasts at will, though these beasts are random. Your summoned beasts level up with you.

Talent Effect #2: You are able to 'extract' one talent/Skill from your beast, and keep it as your own.

Talent Effect #3: You are able to summon any beast you have killed as your own summon.

Talent Effect #4: Talent Effect #1 Cooldown reduced to 1 month.

Talent Effect #5: *%"$& (Level up to unlock)

...

Arthur's face changed to shock as he read the new talent effect.

"Does that mean I can summon a primordial beast every month?" Arthur muttered silently, "That's insane..."

After reading through the new talent effect, Arthur realised there were no more notifications left.

<Passive>

<Description: Grants an extra life upon death. When HP reaches 0, the user is instantly revived. The revived state removes all debuffs and grants 5 seconds of invincibility. Activation resets all cooldowns. Can only be triggered once per week.

Arthur's eyebrows twitched as he stared at Neko, who was busy grooming herself on a nearby branch.

"What the actual fuck is this shit?" he thought, his internal voice filled with disbelief. Experience tales with empire

'Two lives, removal of all debuffs, cooldown resets, and five seconds of invincibility in one skill? What kind of skill is this?'

He didn't dare voice his thoughts out loud, though. Who knew what kind of karma might hurl his way if a powerful person passed by and heard it?

'Better safe than sorry,' He thought.

After internally cursing Neko, her ancestors, and whatever force decided she should be this overpowered. Arthur sighed deeply, a reluctant smirk creeping onto his face.

"At least I'll be able to extract that powerful skill," he muttered. "In a few days, that skill is going to be mine. The more overpowered Neko becomes, the better it is for me."

His mood became better, and with a clearer head, Arthur turned his attention to his other summons.

"Alright, let's see what the rest of you are hiding."

He opened Sunless's status first.

Scanning the information, Arthur nodded. "Like I thought. No new skill since Sunless already unlocked one at level 5. Makes sense, I guess. No complaints here."

Next, he checked Borak. The boar was pacing around the clearing, occasionally sniffing the air. Arthur's suspicions were confirmed as he reviewed the status page. "Yep, Borak didn't get one either. So it's official, Everyone gets a skill on level 5."

Finally, he moved on to Hank. The hawk swooped down and perched on a low branch, its sharp eyes fixed on Arthur as if sensing it was being reviewed.

Arthur raised an eyebrow as he read Hank's status.

<Rank: Rare>

<Active>

<Description: Ability to share your sight with a target. The target will be able to see the same scenes as you.

Arthur's lips parted in surprise. "Damn, Hank. That's… actually solid. I mean, it's not world-breaking like Neko's insane skill, but it's practical and effective for our teamwork. You will be able to share your vision with me, this is going to be amazing."

Hank tilted its head as if in acknowledgement, letting out a small screech.

Arthur chuckled, feeling incredibly happy as he reviewed his growing arsenal of strength. "Alright, this is going great."

"The next step is to check out the Silver Serpent that killed John's daughter, I will need to check its strength first. Then I will decide whether to continue levelling up or to kill it straight away." He muttered, heading to where John told him the Silver Serpent was.
