She Belongs To The Devil

Chapter 693 The First

Ariel gazed at Kenneth's eyes. She could see the longing in his eyes like never before.

And when he cupped her cheeks and caressed her lips with his thumb, she felt her heart skipping a beat.

His face was so close to her that she could feel his cool breath tickling her. She shifted her gaze from his beautiful crystal red eyes to his lips.

Then she thought subconsciously, "I wonder how it would feel to kiss those lips."

And as if Kenneth had read her mind, she saw his lips slightly curving upward.

She could feel her blood rushing to her cheeks. She felt embarrassed about herself because, for the past few days, she was feeling as if her heart and her mind weren't in her control anymore. She kept on having these unruly thoughts, sometimes about Damien and sometimes about Kenneth.

"What the hell is wrong with me?" she thought to herself.

And when her mind returned back to reality, she saw Kenneth's face right in front of her. And before she could think or react, she felt his lips pressed against hers.

Ariel felt sparks in her heart when Kenneth brushed his cold lips against her lips ever so slightly.

"So this is how it feels huh…" she thought to herself and closed her eyes.

The sparks in her heart intensified and ran throughout her body when the strokes from Kenneth's lips became stronger and more fervent.

And as she was so close to him, his oriental spicy smell hypnotized her beyond her senses.

Kenneth couldn't believe that he was actually kissing the woman of his dreams. And not just that, he could hear her heart pounding loudly in her chest. And oh, her lips… her lips felt so soft against his mouth that he could swear butter didn't feel that soft compared to her lips.

Ariel lightly pinched the pockets of Kenneth's waistcoat. And she also kissed him back. Her fast-beating heart suddenly skipped a beat again when a warm taste entered her mouth.

She felt a little weak in her knees, so she pulled away to catch her breath and regain control over her body.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

And that was when her eyes fell on Damien.

He was standing at his door with a distraught look on his face. He looked so hurt that she felt guilty for kissing Kenneth.

She looked away from Damien and took a step back from Kenneth.

Kenneth furrowed his brows upon seeing Ariel backing away. He turned his head behind and saw Damien giving a death glare to him before slamming the door to his room. Kenneth scoffed and shook his head. He was angry at Damien for interrupting his magical moment with Ariel.

He turned to look at Ariel and took a deep breath in. He closed the gap between them. He lovingly caressed Ariel's hair and whispered with a bated breath, "That was my first kiss. I couldn't be any happier that it was with you."

He leaned forward again and kissed her on her forehead. And he lovingly whispered, "I feel so lucky."

Though Ariel felt somewhat guilty because of Damien, she didn't regret kissing Kenneth. In fact, she even liked it.

She gave a warm smile to him and softly whispered to him, "It was also my first kiss. It was better than how I imagined it to be."

Kenneth felt over the moon to hear that. He put his arms around Ariel's waist and tightly hugged her.

And before heading back to his room, he whispered to her, "See you in a while."

Ariel went inside her room and locked her door. She rested her back on the door and closed her eyes. Her heart was still beating faster. She recalled the soft and gentle strokes from Kenneth's lips.

She lightly traced her finger over her lips and smiled to herself.

Suddenly, her mind felt lighter. She felt as if she got the answer to the question that was constantly present at the back of her head – whom she liked among Kenneth and Damien.

"It is Kenneth, isn't it?"

She also recalled how Damien had caught her kissing Kenneth. And she thought to herself, "When Damien said that he had always loved me, I think I also got confused. I thought that maybe what I felt for him was also love. But I always saw him as my dearest friend."

She nodded to herself and thought resolutely, "Yes, I still see him as my closest friend and nothing more."

Inside his room, Damien was resting his head on the door and was still standing right there, motionlessly.

Zach was still there in his room but he didn't dare to speak a word. He acted like a fool but he wasn't. He could clearly tell that Damien was not to be messed with at the moment.

For all these years, Damien had never been able to forget Ariel. In his darkest of times, the only thing that kept him going was the thought of Ariel. His hope that one day, he would reunite with her again and everything would go back to normal, was what motivated him to wake up every day.

But now, the sight of Ariel kissing another man made him feel so devastated that he was unable to move a muscle. He wasn't even able to breathe properly, nor was he able to see clearly because of the tears that had welled up.

His heart was hurting so much that he felt as if tearing his chest open and pulling that thing out of his chest would be less painful.

He clenched his fist and thought to himself, "I cannot live like this. I will never be able to see her with another man."

Back in Ariel's room, she was pacing back and forth like she always did when something would bother her.

She was nervously fidgeting her fingers and was trying to gather the courage to go and see Damien. "I should make it clear to Damien… what I think of him. I don't want to hurt him anymore or make him wait for me when I don't intend on reciprocating his feeling."

She stood in front of her door but sighed and turned around again for the umpteenth time.

But she was suddenly startled when she saw Damien standing right in front of her. She let out a sigh and lightly pressed her palm over her chest. And she complained, "Damien, you can't just teleport inside my room!"

"I needed to see you."
