The World's most Overpowered Side-Character

Chapter 407 Getting to know each other.

"How is this possible?" Ikaris asked, slowly squishing Grecia's cheek and then looking at Sol in disbelief. "Who is this woman, Sol?" She asked. Your next journey awaits at empire

"Grecia is the Sole Daughter of The Vatui House of Eternity from a clan called Thanasis, the Eldest daughter," Sol answered her with a calm smile, watching as her and the others put the pieces together bit by bit, revealing more expressions the longer they thought about what he had just said.

"The house of Eternity, as in the House of Ikaris, The Ikaris clan!?" Arla asked.

"N-no, the house of Ikaris as in the House of Eternity," Grecia with her face still squished between Ikaris's palms looked over the Goddess's shoulder at the elf. "My branch has existed far longer than hers."

"But..." Ikaris released the woman and then held her again, taking her hands and closing her eyes.

"This is me, we share the same blood, you are Kin to me; we are from the same clan!" She stared at Grecia again, still unable to find the right words or actions to express herself beyond shock and stupor.

"I expected her to react like this," Sol nodded. "Ikaris, Grecia shares more than just clan relations, according to her family history and that of the Grand Collective where the house of Ikaris is concerned, there has only been one king in this time period." He took both their hands and joined them together while Grecia began tearing up.

"The House of Eternity is the last lineage of Vatui royalty from the abstract collective named Source, the name is the same, the time frame is the same, and it is the same King, before he left for the Grand Collective, your father heralded a daughter with the priestess of his clan, but as she was not pure royalty, his wife rejected their company and forbade them from following after his Majesty," Jena began explaining, while alpha watched her silently.

"Lady Grecia is your elder sister, heralded by the same father a full generation before you were born, your soul and genetic data are nearly identical.

"Elder sister..." Ikaris mused, slowly pulling herself closer and resting her forehead in Grecia's neck, even though she was taller making for a comical scene when everyone silently watched them. "I have a big sis," Ikaris slowly began nuzzling against the woman's neck. "For real..."

"I have debated your existence in my head for the entire journey," Grecia spoke in a barely audible whisper. "I hoped that you truly were, and now before me you are..." She held Ikaris's head onto herself and began sniffling again.

"Blood of my blood."

"Sister..." Ikaris continued to muse but then in a moment of clarity snapped and strpped away from her. "This little one is Talia, mine and Sol's first daughter," She took Talia from Sara's grasp and held her before Grecia. "Talia, say hi, this pretty lady is your aunty Grecia, and she has come a long way to meet you~"

"She's just going with it, huh?" Dina had her brow raised in disbelief.

"There is no doubt from either Master, myself or Milady regarding this woman's identity, she is without a doubt, family." Jena responded confidently.

"Hi!" Talia in her limited vocabulary said the bare minimum to avoid mistakes, leaving Grecia stunned since she could tell this kid was nowhere ready to be speaking this easily yet.

"Don't be too startled, Talia is a special case, far from average." Sara smiled, assuring the woman that she was ot losing her mind as she saw Grecia's confusion while she looked at Talia.

"I would imagine she is," Xie who had been completely ignored nodded with himself from the back. "She is Sovereign's first child, and also the daughter of the Goddess of Balance, great things are in store for the little Lady." He hummed with a smile.

"Special may not be a strong enough term to describe her in the near future."

"Continuing with the introductions; I am Dina Levina," She introduced herself. "Master Vestic's consort and right hand to the goddess of Balance, Ikaris." She gave them all a light bow while they all showed respect. "It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintances."

"Similarly, I am Arla Amastacia, Masters Consort and Lady Ikaris's Left hand-Maiden, it is a pleasure to meet you all here today!" She smiled at them, giving them a dainty curtsey and then standing upright and looking at Sara along with Sol and everyone else.

"Oh?" The maid who had been absently smiling snapped out of her stopr and looked at them. "Me too?"

"Mhm."

"I am Sara," She gave everyone a wide and low curtesty, fanning her dress over the ground standing with a polite smile before them. "Caretaker to the Vestic household and Master Vestic's personal Maid."

"You too," Sol looked at Alpha, knowing she was not one for pleasantries unless she was singing his praises.

"I am Alpha." She spoke frankly, regarding them all with one glance and then turning her attention to Jena once more, giving her a pat on her head and revealing a small smile. "May we speak in private, Jena?"

"Mom?"

"I am interested in this new you, the organic evolution of your emotions is something that despite my superior processing power I have not been able to achieve, I wish to analyse and converse with your physical self and identify the anomalous nature of your growth.

"First of all, if your goal is to stop sounding like you are artificial, you might want to stop using words that normal people don't understsand..." Jena smiled happily as she and Alpha walked away from the crowd.

"Hm, Alpha is interested in that now huh?" Sol hummed and then looked to the others. "We all have a lot we wish to discuss with each other I am sure, many things are unresolved and there is a lot to catch up on."

"For now though, I would like to spend a little more time with my family, so we will remain here on New Atla for another few days before I announce my return to the rest of the Sol Collective, since you are already here, you are welcomed to stay with us."

"Master, tempting as that offer is, I believe that you and your immediate family should spend this time alone." Fuhua admitted, with Xie nodding inagreement and Yu doing the same.

"Grecia comes though." Ikaris did not even hesitate as she held on to the woman's hand possessively. "As My husband said, there is a lot we need to catch up on, I want to talk to you some more, a lot more!" She admitted and the latter smiled at her enthusiasm nodded.

"There's so much we don't know about each other," Grecia placed her other hand on Ikaris's and then smiled at her and Sol. "I am curious about you two the most," She began walking away with Ikaris who was in the process of pulling her to the side. "I am curious about how you and Master came to be in a relationship.

"Oh?" Ikaris chuckled, glancing at Sol and then bursting into schoolgirl giggles when she realised he was staring right at them even though he and the others were still in a short conversation.

"That right there," Grecia pointed at her. "I hate to admit it, I am ashamed to, but when I first me Master Vestic I tried to seducs him, my intentions were purely out of survival, but I thought I should let you know all theh same; it was a failure, his will and devotion to his wife and family is unbreakable!"

"We have not been together that long, and despite his power, Sol is only Twenty-Nine years old, if you subtract the ten years he spent in my first realm that were reversed."

"How can a being that powerful be so young?" Grecia nearly exclaimed. "That is growth beyond monstrous..."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"Not nearly," Ikaris shook her head, "Umbra, his alter ego was able to reach the Primordial Realm in under a year starting from strength similar to Dina's, that level of growth is Sol's true potential, but the sacrifices to gain power that quickly far outweigh the rewards." Ikaris shook her head.

"We are getting off-track here, tell me about yourself and Source, Grecia, I want to know more about our people, our clan."

"I saw in the codex that you have no recollection of the Grand Collectve or anything before that..." Grecia stared at her. "Personally I have never heard of such a condition, do you think it has anything to do with your heritage as Goddess of Balance?"

"Hm." Ikaris released a short hum, staring at the woman who had blatantly parried her enquiry with a question of her own. She looked to the side again and saw Sol staring at her, she understood that look quite well, she would never forget that expression of his.

"It was the same expression he had shown to Arla under the tent back in arkadia the day the elf confessed to wanting to be more than an acquaintance, the same day she recalled her past trauma and how it affected her then current self.

"Your heart is as big as ever, Love," Ikaris smiled and then held on to Grecia's shaking hands tightly as two chairs appeared next to them.

"Sister, you have no need to be nervous, you do not need to recall the painful bits, if you wish to, I could even have them erased to ease your anguish, but for now, what I am most interested in is Thanasis Grecia."

"So, start from the beginning, where did you grow up?"
