Seeing so many seals appearing in the air, Wuhan became more amazed than shocked. Somehow, he started to become used to Noah's absurd actions.

'Just what are you, boy? This is not something any array master I know can do!' This was the only thought that rang in Wuhan's mind as he looked at Noah. He had some thoughts about what Noah might want to do with the bodies, but he did not understand why the boy was doing all of this in front of him.

'Isn't he scared that I would kill him for using these bodies to increase his cultivation? Does he think I am his friend after everything he did to me? Scoff! I may not have any friends in my life, but I am not so desperate to make friends that I would choose someone younger than me, let alone a demonic cultivator.'

Wuhan lost himself in his own world as he thought about all the bad things Noah had ever done to him. 'Why is he even using all of these bodies all at once? Won't he be hurting his foundation… Wait! Why do I not sense any bloody qi in his system? Everyone who cultivates with blood and corpses of humans gets affected by that, and he seems to be like any other righteous cultivator.'

Xin Yan, who was keeping a watchful eye on Wuhan, became puzzled by all of his muttering and the changes in his expressions every now and then.

'Maybe he is not a demonic cultivator and I guessed wrong!' Wuhan exclaimed in his mind as if he had solved some kind of mystery. But a moment after that realization, he realized something else as well. 'I really need a friend. Sigh~'

Thinking of this, Wuhan looked at Noah who seemed busy with some kind of ritual. His eyes remained closed as all the bodies on the ground glowed.

*Woosh!*

Seeing the bodies floating in the air, Noah tossed the Philosopher's stone in the air.

Rising in the air, the stone glowed, spun, twirled, and formed a vortex around it. With the vortex enveloping the bodies, they were chopped and torn apart in the most gruesome way possible.

Wuhan watched with a frown as the pieces of the body became minced paste and they were sucked into the depths of the vortex where the philosopher's stone was.

*Zheng!*

The stone glowed and started sucking the blood and qi energies from the body to itself.

'What the hell is that?' Sensing the huge amount of energy coming out of the philosopher's stone, Wuhan's eyes widened in shock. Something inside of him was telling him that if he managed to absorb that thing he might be able to break through.

The voice was like a devil's whisper to grab something that did not belong to him right from Noah's grasp.

Had it been someone else they would have been tempted by the voice in his head but Wuhan was quite young and talented; he knew that even without the treasure he would be able to break through the next realm in a couple of years.

It was not just him, even Xin Yan heard something similar to that in her ears but she eradicated that voice with just a single sentence.

'And take the chance of Noah being with me! I would rather come inside and kill you.' With her aggressive approach, the mental demon induced by the philosopher's stone was suppressed by her in an instant.

*Woosh!*

Seeing the red pulses coming out of the Philosopher's stone, Noah looked around and saw it trying to influence Xin Yan and Wuhan to steal the stone and use it for themselves. Just as he wanted to help the two of them, he was surprised to see them resolve the temptation by themselves in such a short time without even needing any outside help.

"To think the temptation that even managed to affect the various profound mages did not have any effect on them," Noah muttered under his breath as he looked at them.

'You cannot say you are surprised by Xin Yan, she is not idiot enough to lose a chance with you just for some mere power growth. I am more surprised about this Wuhan, he is indeed worth befriending.' Elysia's voice reached Noah's mind from the necklace.

Hearing her words, Noah simply chuckled and did not comment at all. He looked at the stone that had just finished absorbing the bodies and was now glowing in an ethereal manner as several glyphs floated all around it.

*Boom!*

A small explosion sounded from the depths of the stone as the glow around it started to pulse and the energy being released from it soared through the skies.

Seeing the red beam of light, everyone present in the area got the feeling that whoever held this stone would be able to have any of his wishes fulfilled. The longer they stared at the pillar, the more intense the feeling they would feel.

But all of a sudden, the feeling vanished as Noah used his seals to wrap around the stone and trap the aura of the stone from leaking.

"Is it complete?" Seeing Noah reaching out for the stone, Xin Yan rushed towards him and asked with an almost skipping tone in her voice.

Noah was surprised by her sudden appearance, but he nodded at her. Seeing him nod, Xin Yan could not control herself and threw herself at Noah. 'You Bitch! Get Away From him! He is Mine!'

Hearing the screaming sound of a certain annoying woman in her head, Xin Yan realized what she had done and shyly backed away from Noah. She was very happy that there was a mask on her face or Noah would have seen her as a blushing mess.

"I am happy for you, finally you can make it." Xin Yan calmed herself before looking at Noah; she placed her hands on his mask and traced his cheek with her thumb. Noah did not say anything and just silently looked back at her.

"Ahem!" It wasn't until hearing the coughing sound of a certain single third wheel poking his nose between them, the two of them looked away.
