Chapter 983 With a Buzz…
[OP: ]
The Queen's greeting to Eon and Elle was a surprising sight for all the people present and since there were hundreds of reporters present there with their camera devices, they clicked a picture of this scene from various angles.
Some even recorded the entire interaction of the Queen of the Cerulean Apis of the great academy.
Furthermore, the instance where the Queen handed a precious jar of the finest of the Baby blue honey to these two individuals was captured on camera so… both of them knew there was going to be a big ruckus about it all over the world.
Sadly, they couldn't do much about this.
The world was going to know about Lucifer and Uriel soon anyway. It was better if they found out about them in some good headlines rather than some kind of questioning conspiracy.
{ "We appreciate your presence in this garden on this joyous occasion." }
The headmaster was giving a closing speech now, so, the festival was going to conclude soon as well.
Everyone knew that, that's why while many of them were gathered in the centre of the garden where the headmaster was giving his speech, the rest simply listened to it from around the garden as they tried to make full use of their remaining time…
"You're going to eat that, right?" Ezra was with her partner, on a stall that sold a specialty of the deserts.
"Ha… haha. Of course… I'll eat this."
It was a finely seasoned, grilled (Green scorpion), a creature of (Blue) rank that was quite a rare sight even in the deserts.
In her hometown, it was eaten on joyous occasions and was loved by the people of her land, so she wanted Alph to try it as well.
Just that…
"You don't have to eat it if you find it uncomfortable, you know?"
"No no! Didn't I say it's fine."
As someone who possessed a pinnacle skill, as someone who had somehow become too entangled with this person and as someone who had ultimately accepted his fate, Prince Alpheus couldn't miss this opportunity.
"If you say it's a delicacy there must be something to this."
He believed that, and he believed the words from his skill at least, that was the only reason he was going to try it.
"Well, if you say so…"
She liked it, and there was no reason for him to like what wasn't common in his culture. She understood that, so she wasn't going to be upset even if he didn't wanna try it.
But then again, if he wanted to do it himself, she wasn't going to stop him either.
"I can tell you're enjoying this, Ez."
"Huhu, anyone would, wouldn't they?"
It was a fun sight for her, she wasn't going to deny that.
"You…"
But for the person that was going to try it, it was not going to be anything simple. Not when he was used to simple looking food instead of a semi-dead creature on a stick.
Hopefully, he will be fine…
The fireworks were still going on, the sky was still as colourful as it was a few moments ago, there were still a lot of colourful creatures in the sky so, the children weren't bored yet.
But since they all were simply watching all this without running around, their parents and the elders were at last taking a break.
They were exhausted, just like Tia and the group, Lizzy and the crew, just like Carla who was helping everyone she could find, and like the couple who had a bast in this fun festival.
The Queen was flying around so there were many individuals following her around. And since the smaller bigger bees around her created a mesmerising atmosphere, wherever she went, a new breeze of awe followed.
Seeing the Queen in this unique form with her family was a peculiar, yet strangely satisfying sight.
The Buzz in the air was constant and harmonious, so it was like low music with those fireworks in the sky.
She was a unique creature as every Senior student of this academy knew. And seeing her like that once again was an experience they didn't think they would be having anytime soon until they received the invitation of this festival, and came here to their alma mater.
-Buzzzzz…
This familiar buzzing and these gorgeous fireworks.
There was a certain place in their hearts and minds that had always longed to see this sight once again even though they had progressed so much in their lives.
They had different lives from what they had when they were here, however, experiencing this sky, these classes, this atmosphere, and this unique sense of belonging that they had not even felt in their workplaces brought a wave of nostalgia to them.
So… they were surfing with those waves. Laughing with their friends over the old stories, remembering their own time as students, and remembering the things that they had not yet forgotten.
This experience and this time here… they knew they were going to remember it for a little longer as well.
Even if some of them aren't around anymore, they knew they would be alright as long as they had the memories of their time here, of their friends, of this fun place…
"It's ending…" Eon, as he could see with his three eyes, could tell how this festival had been a success.
The evil forces that they were trying to get rid of were eliminated, the people who arrived here had a fun time, they heard many fun stories from their seniors, and thanks to the little advice of the Queen, they were a little better as well.
Overall, they were happy.
And they could see how their friends were doing right now so they knew that overall, they were happy as well.
"It's just the first festival, and yet, look at everyone… Med is almost crying."
"She's happy. Though, she wouldn't be crying if you were there."
"That's true."
She was like this, emotional sometimes, and cute.
Everyone liked her. And despite her excellent business skills, her innocence made her a friend that everyone wanted to have in this academy.
"Well…"
Sadly, just like many other amazing individuals of their batch, she was usually with these two, and their group.
She liked being there like many other people, so, not just everyone could have her.
Not even the ones who were infatuated by her pure being.
She was a good girl but for those who knew her well, she was also someone they wouldn't want to upset.
Especially when she is having a good time.
She was almost dangerous if her fun was ruined.
Still…
It was nice having her around.
-Buzzzzz…
Just like how it was nice having these special honey bees around.
-Chirp! Chirp!
Just like how it was nice having all these creatures, spirits, and energy beasts around when one was in this special garden.
{ "It was a great day for us as well, so… we thank each and every individual who accompanied us for this wonderful festival.
Thank you all." }
The sky is filled with more colours.
Beings from various realms go back to their masters, and friends.
A fine wind of tomorrow is blown on the blue moonlit horizon, stars of distant galaxies twinkling like innocent children's smiles.
Voices of joy and emotions are heard throughout the vast island, a festival in the academy being the centre of it all.
A great darkness watches from far beyond… signalling the forthcoming of an impending storm.
At the same time…
"They aren't ready yet."
"The time is ticking… Wali."
In some distant part of the universe, a council discusses the future of a significant world.
"They need time!"
"They have it… though, not too long."
Beings of divine status gazes at a world that's being slowly dominated by an Outsider presence.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
A world where Bright lights had started moving with an infant Light.
Their now clandestine movements weren't yet noticed by the Darkness from the Great beyond, however, they weren't going to stay hidden for long.
The world was starting to revolve around that infant Light, and with that world as a centre, the entirety of the centre was moving towards an unforeseeable tomorrow.
"They will need challenges."
"They aren't ready yet!"
As the authorities in charge of the maintenance of this nature, THEY won't be able to stall any longer than they have.
There were some who favoured them, there were some who were on their side, however, bound by their ultimate duties, there were some who couldn't help but proceed as they needed to… even against the protest of the others.
"They will have to get ready."
"…"
[Laws] applied to them just as much as they applied to those Outsiders.
The time was ticking, not just for that now unpredictable world, but for the entirety of nature that had once been in a stable equilibrium.
"They also have a responsibility…"
"But they don't even understand themselves yet!"
The most Restricted divinity gazed at one of the most respected ones.
"He is HER successor, Wali."
He gazed back at that world beyond the distant celestial clouds.
"Even without our interference, there will come a time when he has to understand what exactly that means."
But they did not have too long…
A storm was approaching from the Great beyond.
As the Maintainers, they will fight that storm as they are supposed to, but even with their boundless powers, they will not be able to go beyond the [Laws] that bound them as well.
"They will have to hurry up."
Or else…
"Or else there will be consequences."
Not just for him… for the entirety of their existence.
